ABOUT ME
I am a professional counsellor, working from a cosy and private garden office in Clanfield. I aim to work at your pace and with what you bring to each session, as well as to decide together on your goals and how we can work towards them. We can work creatively with pictures, objects and other materials to enhance your understanding of yourself and your emotions. We can also work to understand the interactions between your body and mind, your emotional and physical reactions.
I have worked with young people for over twenty years in various capacities and therefore have a good understanding of the academic and social pressures that a young person faces. I will help you, or your child if you are reading this as a parent, to feel secure, accepted and respected and to flourish within a trusting relationship. I work safely within the boundaries of confidentiality to ensure that all parties feel secure in the process.
I hold an enhanced DBS certificate and am a member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists, working to their ethical standards.
